An Inconvenient Path

A workshop on growth, transportation, and the future of Santa Barbara

Sponsored by
Santa Barbara Safe Streets

Transportation infrastructure is the foundation of economic vitality and of human interaction in our city streets. How we move through the city safely on foot, bicycle, and automobile, while maintaining an efficient road network for commercial vehicles and public transit, is a critical topic in city planning. Intended for city planners, transportation engineers, business owners, and concerned citizens, this workshop will examine the current state of transportation planning in Santa Barbara, the transportation challenges we are likely to face over the next 20 years, and plausible solutions.
